I’m still here…plus a megasale!

It’s been almost two years since my last post. I’ve been pretty quiet online, but I have been muddling my way through a draft of my latest book. While I’m not nearly ready for publication, the draft is going through revisions and beta readers, which is pretty exciting. My hiatus from writing may not be fully over—I don’t know when I’ll start work on the next couple of books in my head, or when this one will be ready for publication—but I’m starting to feel more inclined to creative energy these days. This most recent one is far more personal and contemplative compared to my earlier books; it follows only one character in her journey of grief, hope, and resilience. Think more Circe or The Witch’s Heart instead of dark epic fantasy. The book is set in the transition period between the Norse viking age and medieval era, and features Norwegian folklore creatures coming into conflict with the introduction of Christianity.

All that being said, my original trilogy, The Sovereigns of the Dead, is part of a holiday megasale for fantasy/scifi books! Over 300 authors are participating, and every one has pledged to donate to the Mary Cariola Center for every book downloaded. All books are FREE or only $0.99.
